As a Sarasota Wedding Photographer I have found the City of Sarasota and its surroundings to be known as the cultural center of Florida. Sun, sand and water abound, providing a wonderful setting for museums, botanical gardens, wildlife sanctuaries and dance theaters, art and professional music. A great place for wedding photographers. It is officially recognized for having the whitest and fine sands in the world, life on the beach cannot be better than in this place.
Recreation and water sports abound throughout the year as the area is surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico, Sarasota Bay, Myakka River, Limon Bay and the Inter-Costal Canal. The average temperature varies from 24C in January to 36C in August, which is why this area is so popular with tourists at any time of the year. Usually there are 22 sunny days each month which represents a true cure for winter sadness.
Check this which is great for your wedding in Sarasota: there are two international airports near the City! Tampa International Airport (one hour from Sarasota) and Bradenton-Sarasota International Airport (in the northeast of the city).
